It is my firm belief that all living things should be nurtured and respected. That includes our natural and cultivated landscapes, animals, plants, trees, humans....everything. Equally important is to preserve and interpret our cultural resources such as art, architecture and things that we have created in the past for future generations to enjoy.  To me, the people who deserve the most respect and accolades are the curators, gardeners, conservationists , preservationists and protectors of the environment in which we live.
